1. Report your claim to the ICBC
Your first step is to report your claim to the ICBC. They will record the date of your accident and issue you a claim number, which you’ll use throughout the process. An ICBC support and recovery specialist will be assigned to your case.
2. Find a Practitioner
After receiving your claim number, you can book an appointment with a practitioner of your choice. You don’t have to wait for an ICBC recovery specialist before starting your treatment, so you can seek help right away!
3. Initial Assessment and Treatment Planning
When you book your initial treatment at Qi, you’ll be sent an intake form requesting important information regarding your claim. This will streamline the process and ensure the practitioner has everything they need to start treating you right away. During your initial appointment, your practitioner will evaluate your injuries and develop a customized treatment plan to support your recovery.
4. Continued Treatment Beyond 12 Weeks
Sometimes injuries are severe and recovery can take longer than the pre-authorized sessions. In these cases, our practitioners will submit a treatment plan extension to your recovery specialist outlining further treatments planned and how they will benefit your recovery.
5. Focus on Your Recovery
We’ll claim the bill directly from ICBC, so you can focus on your recovery.
