Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist

Gavin Larsen (R.TCM.P., R.Ac.) is a specialized practitioner recognized by the CTCMA of British Columbia. Since 2014, he has dedicated his practice to moving away from “one-size-fits-all” healthcare, focusing instead on the physiological foundations of recovery. Whether working with athletes or individuals experiencing chronic hair loss and digestive concerns, Gavin’s objective is to identify and resolve the specific systemic stalls, be it a delivery issue, a nutrient barrier, or a signaling error, blocking the body’s natural healing response.
A former instructor at Pacific Rim College, Gavin emphasizes a “root-cause” philosophy. He recognizes that the same underlying patterns that cause slow injury recovery can also drive digestive reactivity and hair thinning. By integrating classical Chinese Medicine with modern techniques like electro-acupuncture and scalp activation, he provides individualized treatment plans that prioritize long-term vitality over temporary fixes. Outside the clinic, Gavin explores the intersection of strength training, culinary arts, and longevity, always seeking to refine the tools he uses to help his clients overcome internal barriers and maintain systemic balance
