Unlock Your Golf Potential: Move Better, Feel Better, Play Better

A personalized 6-month program designed by an experienced Osteopathic Practitioner working with LPGA professionals and aims to improve mobility, optimize your swing, and support long-term performance—whether you're recovering from injury or simply looking to take your game to the next level.

Are you feeling sore after a round of golf? Struggling with consistency, or want to increase your clubhead speed without strain?

The Golf Assessment & Progression Program is designed by Colin Trigellis-Smith, an Osteopathic Practitioner with extensive experience touring with the LPGA and supporting professional golfers. This program is tailored to evolve with you, tracking your progress and improvement over a six-month period (or longer). It’s built around a detailed analysis of your golf swing, using slow-motion video capture to pinpoint any physical limitations that may be affecting your performance.

What You Can Expect

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. Every part of the program is personalized to support your unique body, swing, and goals.

1. Comprehensive Movement & Physical Assessment

We begin with a comprehensive evaluation of your body’s mobility, focusing on key areas like your hip/pelvis, thoracic spine, and shoulder girdle/complex. From my years of experience, these are the most common areas of limitation for golfers. The evaluation will assess your joint range of motion, coordination, and sequencing to uncover any restrictions that could be hindering your swing.

2. Detailed Insights Into Your Swing & Body

After the assessment, we’ll use the data to identify the key areas where your body may be limiting your swing efficiency. You’ll get a clear breakdown of how your body is influencing your swing—and we’ll help you connect the dots with your coach, trainer, or other team members.

3. Personalized Exercise Plan

Based on your assessment, you’ll receive a customized exercise plan designed specifically for your needs. These exercises target the key areas of limitation and are tailored to your fitness level and the equipment you have access to.

This program is all about improving your body’s function to support a more efficient and powerful golf swing. Whether you’re aiming to enhance performance or reduce discomfort on the course, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

What’s Included

Here’s what you’ll receive as part of the Golf Assessment & Progression Program:

  • We’ll assess your swing using one or more clubs—typically a wedge, mid iron, or driver—depending on your areas of concern. All swings are recorded and analyzed in slow motion to identify physical limitations and movement patterns affecting your performance. Feedback is shared directly with you after the assessment.

  • Before we begin, we’ll take a detailed look at:

    • How long you’ve been playing

    • Your current handicap and contact/direction concerns

    • Past swing coaching or lesson history

    • Previous injuries that could impact mobility or your swing

    • Sport, exercise, and general medical history

This gives us a complete picture of your background and helps shape a plan that works for your body and your goals.

  • We’ll assess your movement in two ways:

    • Standing Active Movement Assessment – A full review of posture, mobility, and range of motion in functional positions.

    • Table-Based Assessment – Joint range of motion testing and evaluation of any current injuries or areas of discomfort.

  • We’ll explain how physical limitations may be impacting your swing or increasing your risk of injury. You'll come away with a clear understanding of your body’s current state and a step-by-step plan to move forward.

  • The program is broken down into monthly blocks. In each phase, we’ll focus on the most important areas for improvement. As you progress, your plan will evolve to support continued gains and address new goals.

  • You’ll receive a structured program of exercises—complete with instructional videos—that focus on your specific limitations while improving strength, mobility, and swing mechanics. Each plan is tailored to your fitness level and available equipment.

  • All swing videos, assessment results, and exercise plans are uploaded to Coach Now—a coaching platform where you can track your progress and access your program any time. You can also reach out through the platform with questions, feedback, or check-ins throughout your journey.
