Mia Capozzi
Registered Acupuncturist
As a graduate of Pacific Rim College, Mia is a registered acupuncturist with a deep understanding of how to facilitate more coheisive balance within the emotional, physical, and spiritual body. She provides a safe space for individuals to tune in and allow symptoms to serve as a pathway to deeper healing. Through her practice, she cultivates transformational treatments helping patients shift towards greater states of vitality, while promoting states of harmonious relaxation.
She has experience in supporting mental health, including anxiety, depression, and nervous system regulation. She works extensively with all types of body pain, immunity, digestive health, and idiopathic conditions. As an advocate for women’s health and a background in fertility, Mia empowers patients to navigate their reproductive health with greater ease, ensuring they feel heard and supported with any concerns.
She also offers sound healing, cupping, tui na (Chinese massage), guasha, craniosacral therapy, esoteric acupuncture and Reiki. Certified through AcuLift, Mia also provides advanced facial rejuvenation acupuncture combined with red light therapy, facial cupping, and gua sha to promote radiant skin from the inside out.
Mia’s passion for health and wellness began in 2013, when she moved to Los Angeles in her early twenties. She immersed herself in yoga and meditation, pursuing various certifications and was then introduced to Reiki. She continued to expand her understanding of alternative medicine while living and working at a healing center in Cusco, Peru, where she was deeply inspired by the local perspective on the healing journey. These are some of the diverse experiences that led her to pursue her career in Chinese Medicine, and shaped her integrative and well-rounded approach to patient care.
