Nurturing Massage for Every Stage of Pregnancy

Prenatal massage is a gentle, safe way to ease discomfort, reduce stress, and support your physical and emotional well-being throughout pregnancy. All treatments are provided by Registered Massage Therapists trained in prenatal care.

What is Prenatal Massage?

Prenatal massage is a specialized form of massage therapy designed to meet the changing needs of your body during pregnancy. Using side-lying or cushioned positioning, your RMT can gently relieve pain, reduce swelling, and support circulation without putting pressure on sensitive areas.

Benefits of Prenatal Massage

  • Eases lower back, hip, and pelvic pain

  • Reduces swelling and improves lymphatic flow

  • Relieves tension in shoulders and neck

  • Promotes restful sleep and relaxation

  • Supports hormone balance and nervous system regulation

Massage also offers a space to reconnect with your body and growing baby in a peaceful, supportive environment.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

Your session is tailored to your stage of pregnancy and comfort level. Your RMT will use:

  • Supportive bolsters or pregnancy cushions

  • Safe, side-lying or semi-reclined positioning

  • Moderate pressure focused on comfort and relief

  • A calm, private space with time to unwind

All sessions are eligible for coverage under most extended health plans.
