I am introducing Adhesion Breakers to my practice this week. Adhesion breakers are stainless steel tools used for Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (You may have heard of similar tools, such as Graston Technique, gua sha and FAKTR tools). This system of healing has been used for centuries in Chinese medicine to reduce pain, remove scar tissue and improve healing in muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia.
